Islam is a peaceful and beautiful religion, in which it is believed that life and death are true and the life after death is an eternal life in which Allahﷻ will take account of our deeds. The hereafter is the eternal life that begins after death, which is the life that does not end. All Muslims believe in it wholeheartedly and with complete faith. As it is clear in Quran pak,

"Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life, and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for all things do We take account in a record clear."

Believing in life after death and resurrection, Muslims realize they should read the Holy Quran, even they should Hifz the Holy Quran. They should know the importance of Salah (Nmaz). They should refrain from bad deeds and keep seeking forgiveness from Allahﷻ

Significance of life after death

The Day of Judgment is also referred to as Yawm al-Qiyamah.

Islam emphasizes the concept of the Day of Judgment frequently while discussing life after death. Everyone will be raised from the grave on this day and taken to Allahﷻ for judgment.

(17:13) – "And We have fastened every man's deeds to his neck, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall bring out for him a book which he will find wide open "

Everyone will be held responsible for their deeds, both good and bad, and they will be given prizes or punishments according to their deeds.

Jannah for honorable in life after death.

Muslims have a strong conviction that those who live moral lives will be justly rewarded for their deeds in a paradise known as Jannah. The heavenly paradise of Jannah, according to Islamic traditions, is where the devout shall experience unending blessings and be near Allah. Their home in paradise is a reasonable recompense for their virtuous and ethical behavior

Jahannam (Hell): On the other hand, there is the concept of Jahannam, also referred to as hell, and a place of suffering for those who lived morally reprehensible and immoral lifestyles. Indeed Hell is a place of great punishment for those who turn away from their religion of Islam and commit evil deeds.

Affecting moral and ethical decisions

By believing in the life after death and the day of resurrection and having complete faith In Allahﷻ and Muhammad (PBUH), Muslims have the option to live their lives according to their choice. As they live according to the best principles of Islam or against. Holy boo has these verses about life after death,

Every soul shall taste death, and We will test you with good and ill by way of test, and to Us you will be brought back.

Every soul shall taste death. Then you shall be brought back to Us

Responsibility comes first. The awareness of the Day of Judgement promotes responsibility. Muslims are conscious that God will record and evaluate their deeds. They are inspired to live moral lives in all spheres of their lives by this awareness.

Looking for righteousness:  Muslims are driven by the desire to enter Jannah to do good deeds, preserve justice, and assist others. Kindness, charity, and compassion are promoted since they are seen to be strategies to win Allah's favor.

Avoiding Sin: The fear of Jahannam serves as a deterrent to engaging in sinful behavior. Muslims are instructed to avoid doing things like lying, stealing, adultery, and oppression that could place them in hell. This terror drives home the value of leading a moral and holy life.

Prayer and Worship: A Muslim's life is centered on their daily prayers (Salah), Ramadan fasting (Sawm), and almsgiving (Zakat). These practices foster emotional development in individuals, which is seen to be essential for a successful outcome on the Day of Judgement. They also help people to make strong connections with Allahﷻ

Ideas about the life after death

Muslims who think there is a hereafter find solace and hope in it. It provides them with a sense of purpose and inspires them to lead ethically decent lives. The concept of a hereafter provides a framework for understanding the transitory nature of earthly pleasures and the importance of spiritual growth. Quran declares in this verse,

Every soul shall taste death, and you will indeed be paid your full rewards on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever is delivered from the Fire and admitted to paradise has certainly succeeded. The life of this world is nothing but the wares of delusion.

This perspective emphasizes the Day of Judgement, Heaven (Jannah), and Hell (Jahannam) the most. This gives us a lesson that believing in the hereafter and the day of Resurrection. We should do good deeds in this world and avoid bad deeds. In such a way we can avoid a bad life in hell which is a major punishment, and can obtain a high position in heaven, unending enjoying and beautiful life
